Who we are

We met on Marseilles Graduate Business School campus. Jean-Luc was living in a fraternity with a view on the pine trees and the Calanques of the Mediterranean sea and Denise still in the family home of her parents at Le Roucas Blanc above the Corniche.

Jean-Luc is a ’79 graduate from New York University Stern School of Business and made an international career in Management Consulting (Accenture, Capco) and Banking (JP Morgan) with assignements in Europe, the US, Eastern Europe, Africa, Central America and Asia.

Like all his family, Jean-Luc is talented in the restoration of old dwellings, looks after their donkeys and produces honey in their country home in Le Périgord.

He founded Bonne Nuit Paris in July 2007 at the age of 50. He is an active member of Association pour la Sauvegarde du Paris Historique, Histoire du 3ème and Société Centrale d’Apiculture of The Luxembourg Garden.

Denise

After a few years at the American advertising agency Mc Can Ericson where she was responsible for European clients, Denise quit her job to look after their 3 children.

In her mid 40’s she went back to Paris 7 University and graduated with a Master degree in Clinical Psychology.

She is now a therapist working in her private practice.

Our family

Our 3 children are all graduates from Paris universities: Edouard in Mechanical Engineering at Pierre & Marie Curie Polytechnic University, Adeline in History at La Sorbonne University, and Gaël in Law at Assas University.

At home, we ride bikes or use rollerblades to move around Paris and are all fluent in several languages including English, Spanish and German.

We are looking forward to sharing with you our passion for Le Marais where we moved in 1983 and for our home where you will find a touch of our provincial roots …

Our daughter Adeline, will be happy to be your private guide to penetrate the cultural heritage, lifestyle, sophistication and creativity of Paris. She invites you to visit her website: www.esprit-de-paris.com.
